The measurement of bulk materials, especially in the industrial, mining, or construction sector, takes a lot of time, energy, and money. Miscalculations in the measurement of large volumes, even by a couple of percent converted into absolute figures, can make up to several tens of tons.

Challenge

To accurately measure the volume of bulk materials using conventional methods, they must have a correct geometric shape – a cube or cone. But that never happens.
